- The state contracts with Wayne State University to collect and report data through a survey. Therefore, districts do not have any required responsibilities.
- The survey is administered to the students of one-third of the local school districts of each intermediate school district on a rotating basis.
- MI-TOP encourages district personnel to promote awareness of the survey within their district and help improve response rates.
- Districts can volunteer to partner with Wayne State to improve response rates. Contact Charo Hulleza at Wayne State University for more information.
